I've literally just released a compilation of two short stories.
DETECTIVE DON GARCIA: WINGING IT
Don Garcia is a Private Investigator in his 40’s, though he is often mistaken to be in his 50’s. A case presents itself in a most unusual way and he is forced to follow any leads he finds. Madness and chaos seem to gravitate towards him as the story unfolds, placing Don in a series of mishap events. He becomes the target of a crime lord and must fight his way to get out alive.
IN PROGRESS
Jimmy Bravic is a reporter at a paper in Santa Maria, a fictional town on the coast of California. He is behind in his work, and is told to go to a nearby island for a music festival. It is an island that has recently legalised all drugs and thus the inhabitants are taking full advantage. He takes his friend along and they experience the culture, the music and the festivities first-hand. Jimmy gets into trouble and causes it too. He is drawn to the island and becomes taken aback by it, by its people and by the events which follow. What will become of these two friends in this land of chemical and natural euphoria?
