INTERVIEW

Waiting patiently

To be screened

For a job

A role

A position...

I’m waiting online

With a headset

And microphone

It’s different these days

You don’t have to drive

To the interviewer

To the company

You just sit at your desk

In front of your computer

And don that headset

Like some pilot

You look presentable

At least to the interviewer

Because below the waist

They can’t see

For all they know

You could be sitting there

With a smart shirt

Looking spiffy

Looking smooth

Hair done up all neat and tidy

Clean-shaven

And your best tie

And wearing

Pajama pants

And slippers

underneath

all that...
