Some pressing matter

It can't wait till tomorrow 

It can't wait a week

Rush rush rush

Pillar to post

Up along the beaten path

And tired

And desiring sleep

But it will not relent;

No, not a fuck

Murphy, that sadistic bastard,

Has me in his crosshairs

And he nicks me

With cheap shots

All day long

Eventually I start to laugh;

Slowly cracking up

Or just catching up

To life's big joke
